We are applying for funding to carry-on the Film Club
starting again in September which will include the cancelled showing of the ‘The Artist’- I hope everyone received a message in good time.
But first something different for the Summer at the Rusholme Film
Club for families and adults.
On Sunday 16th June, we have an eco-theme with
a recycled paper sculpture craft session (4.30-6pm) followed by ‘Do The Math’-
a documentary about climate change that took the US by storm. http://math.350.org/, (42 mins).
Sunday 28th July recreate Victorian animation
devices such as the Thaumatrope (4-5.30pm). This is followed by an hour of
short animations from the old to the new, the famous to the rarely seen.
The Film Club is free, with refreshment available for a
charge. It takes place at The Birch Community Centre, Brighton Grove, M14 5JT.
