New for Rusholme this September


Rusholme Film Club will start back again in October:

 

20th October, 17th November, 15th December, 26th January, 16th February and 16th March.

 

Thanks to members who completed the survey and we will making a few improvements including purchasing a slightly bigger screen.

Also your suggestions for film showings would be really welcome- world cinema, social history or just your favourites you would like to share!

Stories of the Great Turning:

 

The launch of the book: Stories of the Great Turning, 20th September at 6.30 - 8.30pm at Birch Community Centre. Please see the poster below for RSVP details.

 

Stories of the Great Turning is inspired by an essay from Joanna Macy of the same title. The book consists of tales of 15 people who have aimed to make a difference where they stand. Vala is a co-operative publishing company. I enclose a list of the stories with a summary line to demonstrate their varied nature.

 

NEW Sewing Bees workshops:

A new Rusholme Sewing bees programme will be starting on Monday 16th September, 6.30-8.30pm at Trinity House Community Resource Centre. The
